Adriatica restaurant & grill recently hosted an Italian party. Invited from Milan, Chef Nicholas Floris was our guest star. Upon graduating from the Carlo Porta Institute for Food and Hospitality and several other culinary schools in his country, he’s been perfecting his skills in renown cities of the world. Chef Nicholas worked in the restaurants of Dubai, Geneva, London, and Bangkok; now Herceg Novi of Montenegro can be added to this list. The focus product of Nicholas’s mastery is fish, which became the centerpiece of a special menu offered to Adriatica’s guests, e.g. fruits de mer marinated in citrus juice, or sole fish with vegetables baked in foil. Meat eaters were treated to lamb chops with pistachios, herbs, mashed potatoes and black truffle. Cheesecake with forest fruit became the finale. Refined wines and live Italian music complemented the evening and made it unforgettable for every guest.
